GDPR enforcement in the UK, ensuring that all legacy systems and current systems were managing the data accordingly in line with the new legislation. Old data being purged by and routines setup for data older than 2 years. Also there needed to be processes in place for scenarios such as customers 'right to erasure'.
My role as a Technical Business Analyst was to engage with business users about the different database tables that certain teams were still accessing, ensuring the data was being correctly migrated to the new analytics solution as well as being purged from the legacy but managed in-line with business operations.
I had the task of investigating the Tableau reports and the data sources, ensuring that the data being reported on was also GDPR compliant. I was writing design docs/BRD's (Business Requirement Documents) for processes carried out within the organisation, such as disruptions and how data is to be handled in the warehouse and cubes.
The organisations databases, legacy systems and reporting solution was fully GDPR compliant.
